Fabric Reinforced Obsidian

This modification introduces a unique block called reinforced obsidian, which possesses exceptional strength against the destructive power of the Wither. It also adds reinforced bars necessary for creating this super-durable material. Although the block concept is borrowed from the EnderIO mod, all textures have been completely reworked and created from scratch, so their appearance may change in future updates.

In addition to the basic block, various variations are available: reinforced obsidian slabs, stairs, and walls, as well as reinforced glass and tinted glass. All these blocks have the same protective properties.

Reinforced obsidian allows players to create reliable Wither cages using only 6 blocks! In the Nether, the bottom block can be replaced with bedrock from the ceiling, but in other dimensions, a full-fledged structure will be required.

Creation and Usage

To craft reinforced iron bars, replace the iron ingot in the center slot of the standard iron bars recipe with a netherite ingot.

Reinforced obsidian is created from four iron ingots, four reinforced iron bars, and one regular obsidian.

Starting from version 1.18.1-1.0.5, reinforced glass and tinted glass have appeared in the game. Like their obsidian counterpart, these blocks are completely resistant to Wither explosions. Reinforced glass can be crafted from four obsidian, four reinforced iron bars, and one glass block. The tinted version is obtained by combining one reinforced glass with four amethyst shards.
